This beautifully finished fastener is forged from steel and is a part of the Monkeytail range of products. It has the added security of a locking mechanism operated by means of a small grub screw on the handle. The handle is designed to be fitted for ease of use by the right hand. This Night Venting Fastener is easy to fit and allows the window to be open and let air in whilst remaining locked. Windows without a central mullion, a separate Hook Plate must be ordered. Suitable for internal and external use. Supplied complete with fixings.
Our pewter finish is elegant and beautifully highlights the texture of the steel. The unique and complex process runs deep into the metal resulting in an unmatched contrast of texture and colour. This finish has been salt tested to 480 hours, which meets grade 5 British Standard. It has excellent anti-corrosive properties but we recommend that this finish is wiped with a lightly oiled cloth from time to time which will remove harmful deposits and maintain its original condition.
