This beautifully finished fastener is forged from steel and is a part of the Monkeytail range of products. It has the added security of a locking mechanism operated by means of a small grub screw on the handle. The handle is designed to be fitted for ease of use by the right hand. The Night Venting Fastener is easy to fit and allows the window to be open and let air in whilst remaining locked. Windows without a central mullion, a separate Hook Plate must be ordered. Suitable for internal use or in high moisture areas if maintenance guidelines are followed. Supplied complete with fixings.
Our beeswax finish is the most authentic finish for steel. When forging has finished the colours left in the steel range from blue to deep red ochre. To preserve these beautiful colours we recommend periodically maintaining this with our beeswax maintenance wax. This gives a subtle, matt richness to the metal and offers excellent protection when products are fitted internally and properly maintained.
