This beautifully finished fastener is forged from steel and is a part of the Avon range of products. It has the added security of a locking mechanism operated by means of a small grub screw on the handle. This Night Venting Fastener is easy to fit and allows the window to be open and let air in whilst remaining locked. The handle is reversible to be fitted to the left or right hand side of the window. Windows without a central mullion, a separate Hook Plate must be ordered. Suitable for internal and external use. Supplied complete with fixings.
Our black finish is baked in a high-temperature oven giving it a durable corrosion resistant finish. It is resistant to moisture and can be used in bathrooms and damp conditions. This finish has been salt tested to 480 hours, which meets grade 5 British Standard. Wiping with a lightly oiled cloth from time to time will remove harmful deposits and maintain its original condition.
